Under the Sea, 40 х 30 cm

This artwork is painted in oil on stretched canvas, 40 by 30 cm. It continues a series of underwater works of the artist.

The inspiration was the beauty of the seabed, and the incredible similarity of our land, mountains and trees  – with underwater stones and plants.

This painting shows bright sunbeams passing through the water, just like the sun breaks through the clouds on a sunny day on land. And also fancy algae and corals fall into the sunlight.
